Reports are linked, not copied; contributed texts appear in their original language with a summary in six languages.

• Independent research we citePublished reports and investigations by organisations of standing, checked before they are listed. Each card links to the original and to an archived copy; the figures are the authors' and are labelled Tier .
• Contributed analysisArticles by named researchers, analysts and practitioners, published in the language they were written in. Views of the author — not part of the record. Each text carries the author's name and affiliation, the dates received and published, a note on what was checked, its licence and a link for replies and corrections.
• 1 · Who can publishResearchers, analysts, lawyers, journalists and practitioners who can be identified: a work e-mail at their organisation, an ORCID iD or a public profile that shows the same name. Texts from anonymous senders, pseudonyms or free mail services alone are not accepted. Organisations may publish under their own name with a named responsible person.
